Sunlight
Full Sun: Place your plant in a spot that gets at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight every day.
Open Position: Keep the plant unshaded; lack of light causes poor flowering and low fruit yield.
Soil
Sandy Loam: Use a well-draining sandy loam or loamy mix rich in organic matter.
pH Level: Aim for a slightly acidic to neutral pH between 6.0 and 7.0.
No Waterlogging: Avoid heavy clay or soggy soils, as water stagnation causes root rot and sudden plant death.
Watering
Young Plants: Water young or newly established plants twice a week, or every 7 to 10 days during dry weather.
Mature Trees: Water mature trees about once a week during the active growing and fruiting season.
Check Moisture: Let the top 2 to 3 cm of soil dry out before watering again. Reduce watering during rainy periods or seasonal dormancy.
