Light Requirements
Provide bright, indirect light or filtered sunlight.
Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the feathery fronds.
Too little light causes the soft needles to turn yellow and drop.
Water deeply when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry.
Keep the soil consistently moist during spring and summer, but never let the pot sit in standing water.
Reduce watering during the winter months when growth slows down.
Use a fast-draining potting mix enriched with perlite or peat.
