Sunlight
Bright Indirect Light: Place your Alocasia near an east- or north-facing window where it gets filtered, gentle light.
Avoid Direct Sun: Harsh afternoon direct sunlight will easily scorch and burn the leaves.
Low Light Warning: Too little light causes weak stems, drooping, and slow growth.
Soil
Well-Draining Aroid Mix: Use a loose, nutrient-rich, and chunky substrate that holds some moisture without getting soggy.
Ideal Ingredients: Combine standard potting soil with perlite, orchid bark, and coco coir or peat for proper aeration.
Slightly Acidic: Aim for a soil pH between 5.5 and 6.5
Watering
